Sandra Phillips began making crafts in her North Saanich home after becoming fascinated with the crafts she saw on her travels. Some of the things that particularly attracted her were feather cards and peacock earrings from Mexico, sequin rings and earrings from Australia, and butterfly hairclips from the United Arab Emirates.
Many of her items are for children. Sandra makes counted cross-stitch angels at home and has transferred those needlepoint skills into making coasters, glass cases and lavender sachets for sale at the market. She also makes her own earrings to go with belly-dancing outfits. Sandra will make Swarovski crystal earrings on contract.
